On the occasion of Christmas and New Year's festival, you are invited to attend at the gallery Metanoia a single representation of Yuko HIROTA, incorporating poetry, music and rare & precious incense (not to be found outside Japan).
We will burn aloe wood in its purest form. The Reasoned Encyclopedia of Science, Arts and Crafts of Diderot and d'Alembert (XVIIIth century) describes it as follows "It is certain that this wood is very rare, even among the Indians, since they often buy in the weight of money, and even gold. They consider it much because of the aroma it makes when burned and is a delicious perfume they keep for the temples of the Gods for the palaces of kings. It has a desiccant & hot quality, it is cordial, it fortifies the nerves & brain, it revives the spirits, it prevents failures & diseases of the matrix is incorporated into cordials & the treacle. "
