In celebration of the first year of the Fine Arts major at The American University of Paris (AUP), the Fine Arts Professors and some of their many talented students have selected recent works for a group show that highlights what is being created at the only American Liberal Arts University in France. All the professors of Fine Arts at AUP are practicing artists dedicated to teaching a new generation of up and coming artists. There is a general consensus among all those involved that students should receive a strong figurative foundation as grounding for more experimental and avant-garde art.
Dominique CHRISTIAN, philosopher, will lecture on "Hyperborean Shamanism and its extensions in China and Greece" on September 4th at 4:30pm.
